I am using batch-size="20" on my lazy collcetions. For some reason, when I use the Sql Profiler I am seeing a batch size of 4 regardless of the collection I use. I know this sounds strange, but I can't understand why.

I know I have 8 parent objects loaded in the session, so I expected a single select using the 8 primary keys.

thanks,
craig

I think it my be related to how the collections are being accessed. For it to work as desired, I proabably need to ensure that all collections at a prticular level are initialized. Otherwise, they won't be in the Session for the batching to discover.
