 Post subject: Multiple Database Application
PostPosted: Mon Oct 24, 2005 6:01 pm
I currently have an application that uses two tables from a secondary database for user information -- not sure if this is the best design. I do have a couple related views in the primary database that pulls this data into the application. Is there a better way to do this and can I use those the views in lieu of tables in my mapping file?

I would be interested in an answer to this. I have a similar situation and I'm managing two sessions. The two sessions are not a big deal when coupled with the thead local session pattern and dao pattern.
