What if the answers to...

"Which .net language are you using with NHibernate?"
AND
"Which .net language the NHibernate users prefer?"

...do NOT match?! Well, that's my case. Answering the former I voted for VB...

Wow I haven't thought about that ... I think the point is "What you are using actually" not "What you would like to use" :)
Personally I'm using VB not bacause I like it most, but because it is a standard in my team. Life is brutal, you know...

Chiming in for VB.NET here :)

I learnt programming in BASIC way back when 16KB was a lot of memory. I started with ZX Basic (don't ask), then on to GFA Basic (Atari ST anyone ?), GW-Basic, Borland Turbo Basic, MS QuickBasic and finally Visual Basic before I started working as a professional programmer. I can't seem to get my affinity with its queer syntax out of my system.

Although I have since programmed mostly in C, C++ and (some) Java, my current position requires me to (mostly) use VB.NET and to my surprise I'm enjoying it immensely, especially since MS has given the old lady a nice OO face lift. I guess old habits die hard.

I haven't really done anything useful in C# yet so when that time comes I may yet swing away from the "dark side" again but until then its VB.NET all the way !

I like that: "OO face lift" ;). I've heard sometime ago a funny opinion that "VB.NET is an ordinary C++ with BASIC syntax" - now the best proof is that we can use it with NHibernate and not to loose anything.
cheers!
