Hibernate version: 3.1

Name and version of the database you are using: MSSQL Server 2000

There is a problem when de SQLQuery column is UNIQUEIDENTIFIER, this feature uses the scalar type Hibernate.CHAR instead Hibernate.STRING, retreaving only the first character of the GUID.

And when call "addScalar("ID", Hibernate.STRING)" for this column, I must do it for all the columns (without the benefits of this new feature)

Should I report this to JIRA?
