Hi everybody,

I cant understand this eror at but. But obviously there is something wrong.

I got following error
java.lang.UnsupportedOperationException: cannot perform lookups on timestamp

I am getting Date columns from Oracle and mapping into java.util.Date. I am not using Timestamp anywhere.


Can anybody help me?

Well, I used java.sql.Date , but now I find the time part is cut off. What may be the reason and what may be the solution

FYI for other newbies, change it to Calender. Hibernate doesnt come in the way.

if you used the time value then you *were* using a timestamp...
