Just implemented eclipse launch based invocation of code/artifact generation. See http://opensource2.atlassian.com/projec ... se/HBX-475 for screenshots.

Converting to launch based from wizard based adds the following new features:

- shortcut button on the main toolbar similar to External tools
- you can assign a specifc shortcut key to it
- you can configure and name a "launch" as you please
- you can save them similar to all other launches local or shared in projects

to be done:
Add "Generate as...." menu with automagically configured default runs for various elements in the workbench (e.g. select console config and "Run as.." sub menu provides "Generate POJO/hbm.xml". "Reverse enginer and generate POJO/hbm.xml", etc. reduces the click need.

Let me know what you think. Should also become available in a nightly build soon.
