Hallo,

Ich habe eine Frage zu der Methode session.find(..).. Laut der Doku liefert diese wenn man folgende Query angibt "from A" alle Instancen von A und allen von A abgeleiteten Klassen zurück. Ich möchte aber nur alle Instancen von A haben. Gibt es da eine Möglichkeit?

Du könntest mit einem zusätzlichen where clause nach dem Discriminator von A filtern. Dazu kannst du entweder das Discriminator Feld als readonly Property mappen (update="false" und insert="false"), oder mit nativ SQL direkt auf das Discriminator Feld zugreifen.

Hallo Ernst,

danke für die Hilfe. Leider habe ich keinen Discriminator zur Verfügung. Ich nutze die table-per-subclass mapping Strategie, da braucht man keinen Discriminator.

Ich habe so ziemlich die gleiche Ableitungsstruktur wir in der Bespielanwendung CaveatEmptor.

User --> BilligDetail
CreditCard extends BilligDetail
BankAccount extends BilligDetail

Chapter 15.7 of the reference doc says:

Actually I'm not sure whether this works for table-per-subclass mapping but I think it's worth a try.

Sorry für das Englisch, bin mir nicht gewöhnt auf Deutsch im Hibernate Forum zu schreiben ;-).

Im Kapitel 15.7 des Referenzmanuals steht folgendes:

Bin mir nicht 100% sicher ob das auch für table-per-subclass Mapping funktioniert, aber du kannst es ja mal ausprobieren.
