 Post subject: one to many -- workng but is it correct?

My one-2-Many mapping working great! but i am setting the Parent Object in the Child, unless i do so i am unable to insert into my child.
Is this correct?

Yes its correct and yes setting one side of the relationship, eg, Parent on the child is all that is needed to create the relational relationship (but you need to do both sides for the Object model to be consistent [only if required]).
