I've posted this question in the "Hibernate Users Forum", before realizing that this might be a question specific to Hibernate Annotations.

My question: is there any way to use XML-style persistence (session.getSession(EntityMode.DOM4J)...) with HBMs defined via Hibernate Annotations?

Thanks!

let me reword that...

Anyway to retrieve entities as XML-entities using Hibernate Annotations? I've searched the documentation for Annotations Extensions that support XML tags (i.e., <class node = ""> when using .hbm.xml) and have found nothing.
