Has anyone benchmark to see how fast the various Hibernate querying mechanisms stack up (esp. during load) against each other?

Which one is "best" in term of time/space Criteria, HQL, or Native SQL?

Thanks,

Assuming each approach is generating the same SQL output then I would expect you would find that the differential of the actual API-to-SQL processing approaches to be a very minor factor in the overal Query-to-data model collection processing as the database access will dominate.
