Hi,

My users are typing comments in a Textfield. I would like the line breaks to be saved in the database, but it seems like hibernate escapes \n and \r.
Is there a possible workaround ?

You may want to look at the web tier for this one.

On display, in the web tier convert the escaped characters back to new lines.
