Question about QueryTranslatorFactory support

Good morning

we have migrated without pain from hibernate 2.x to hibernate 3 more than 6 months ago.

In the settings, we use actually the query parser ClassicQueryTranslatorFactory.

Does ASTQueryTranslatorFactory parser now fully supports
all queries allowed by hibernate 2.x ?

People were using the old parser in a undocumented way injecting some DB specific SQL for example.
Documented HQL features should be supported by the new parser.
