 Post subject: <many-to-one lazy="true"> not working

Hi,

We are using Hibernate3.0.5 and when I specify that my many-to-one have lazy="false", I keep getting LazyInitializationExceptions. It only works if I set on the class or default level. Am I doing something wrong or is this a bug? Thanks.

It is hard to tell is you do something wrong or there is a bug without following the issue submission pattern. My wild guess would be that that you need to specify lazy="false" in couple more places.

Mapping documents:

Code between sessionFactory.openSession() and session.close():

Full stack trace of any exception that occurs:

Name and version of the database you are using:

The generated SQL (show_sql=true):

Debug level Hibernate log excerpt:
