Hibernate Version 3.1beta 2
Hibernate Tools: 3.1alpha5
Eclipse 3.1

On a clean install of Eclipse I created a simple project with Hibernate. If I double click on an entity I see the results of a "select *". I can not get the Query Editor to open. The icon is greyed out.

I've read through the forums and have found nothing to help. Can anyone suggest something for me to try?

Thanks

Bob Fleischman

When you click on the name of your "configuration" you will see the hql icon light up, and then click on the light up hql icon. You will see the Query view.

To debug:
if you can view the Error Log view (Eclipse view), you can see the detail of the error if there is some.
Check "Software Update-> Manage Configuration" to see if the Alpha5 tool is correctly installed.

Regards,

Etienne.

Thanks. I did not notice that. I had clicked all around everything else.
