Is there any other parameter(other than maxWait,maxIdle,maxActive) that can be included in the server.xml file to avoid connection time out while using c3po database connection.

The bottom line: you may need to use my code snippet from the thread to enable access to all c3p0 configuration properties from hibernate configuration.

Bugging Hibernate team to include the path in the release would not harm too :)
