The JavaDoc is non existent because the spec does not provide it so far.

What I've been doing is checking out HibernateExt and then running the following command from the HibernateExt\ejb-api directory.

Code:
javadoc -sourcepath src -subpackages javax -d docs\api -windowtitle "EJB 3.0PR Persistence API Documentation" -doctitle "EJB 3.0PR Persistence API Documentation"

The output Javadocs will be located in HibernateExt\ejb-api\docs\api.
