I have install hibernate tools apha4 with eclipse 3.1 JVM 1.4 and every thing works fine except for some of the features in the mapping editor. Tag names have autocompletion facilities when opened in either the wtp editor or the JBoss IDE editor but Bean property autocompletion and table name autocompletion does not work.

Any idea as to what might be the reason

eclipse 3.1 has an issue where the default cntenttype provider is chosen before the Hibernate tools. It is fixed in cvs.

Only known workaround is luck (its dependent on system hashcode) or simply use a older eclipse.
