 Post subject: why validation annotations restricted to method only?

hi,

i'm trying to use validation annotations to field, and dynamic beans, so pls don't restrict them to method only~

btw, is there a more standard annotation validation framework? or jsr standards?

Year I have that on my todo list.

No, we are on the cutting edge AFAIK. But I think the Hibernate Validator framework is kinda agnostic, you can reuse it to build some struts validator mecanism or equivalent.
