I have an Embeddable class that has access=AccessType.Field. It extends from a super class that is Embeddable with access=AccessType.Field.

Hibernate seems to miss the fields in the super class in its mapping. I also tried annotating the super EmbeddableSuperclass to no affect.

If I change to access=AccessType.PROPERTY, then the super class properties are correctly mapped.

Is this a bug or is this the correct operation?

This may be a bug. Please post your unit test to JIRA, it's help me.
