It's a very simple question (I hope :))

How can I know if an object is still persisted or not. I mean, for some business validation rules, I need to know if the method session.saveOrUpdate(Object) is saving or updating the object I pass to.

Thanks in advance!!

German.-

well, I was reading about Interceptor Interface, but, as the documentation said, I can't interact with se session. Some validation need to interact with the session for searching for uniqueness of a property in some cases. Too bad for me ;(

I can't find a way to know if an object is being to be save or update to execute the business rules depending of the operation.
