The SessionFactoryImpl Class implements both the SessionFactory and the SessionFactoryImplementor interfaces. However, the SessionFactoryImplementor already extends the SessionFactory interface.

Is there a specific reason why the implemenation class realizes both interfaces as opposed to only realize the SessionFactoryImplementor?
