Hibernate version:2.1.3

Name and version of the database you are using:Oracle 10g

Hibernate seems to be able to determine if something has changed before running the actual update. I am trying to see if I could add a column to a table to record when the change has been made.

Would it possible in Hibernate?

The wiki has an audit example using interceptors. I have a variation of it running nicely for a client. Check it out.
