Can someone tell me why, when specifying beanPropertyType=”constraint” in the hibernate plugin’s attributes, there is no <meta attribute=”beans-property-type”> tag against any of the relationships in the mapping file and consequently no property change events are generated against relationship properties in the Java objects?

This works fine for primitive types (columns) which then will generate events as properties in their respective java objects. However, I thought that the same thing should be applied to relationships as I would like to know (or listen to) change events on those too.

I should have mentioned that I'm using middlegen 2.1 which, as far as I understand it, are only compatible with the 2 version of hibernate tools.

I'd be happy to contribute but I'd like to know whether there is a reason that relationships are not bound/constrained by the plugin or whether it has simply not been done?
