How to add useful items to the FAQ?

Is there a mechanism whereby documentation can be added to the FAQ?

The Wiki does not seem to have the same focus as the 'common problems'
FAQ, and I would like to add some useful information to one or more
items on the FAQ (I've had to learn that the hard way ;) so I thought
I could save some others the same grief)

I've seen this, but it does not allow me to add info regarding common
problems, there's a dedicated section for this, but it isn't editable:
