Hi,

I'm getting:

Code:
org.hibernate.MappingException: duplicate property mapping: type


which is meaningless to me. Does anyone have any idea how to go about tracking down the problem? I am using Hibernate Annotations so I'm not sure what is ending up in the mapping file.

I strongly suspect this is because I have an inherited class that contains a property "type" and the default discriminator column name for inheritance is also called "type".

I'll post more information as it becomes available.

I was right. Changing the discriminator column name fixed the problem.
