Many to one design question

Hi there! This is something that always occurred to me. We all know how to lazy load an one-to-many association, but what when our object is an composition of many, many heavy objects? I mean I have an object that has over 10 many-to-one associations. Sometimes not everyone is necessary, how do I handle this?
