fyi - hibernate tools is the next generation of hbm2java and middlegen.

may I ask if there is something that bothers you with those tools since you are considering other options ? Or are you just scouting ;)

I work with middlegen before and now with hibernate tools (I see that exists code from middlegen).I need only one features yet (JDBBinder):

choose tables from lists - I have big schema (oracle) and tools end with 'out of memory'

Thanks

ooh outofmemory ? hmmm....

you seriously need a very big database to do that (unless we have some serious memory leak ,)

but please try with the latest (will be downloadable soon - waiting for bandwith)

there should be a jboss ide 1.5 M1 available under jboss sourceforge site. These zips contains alpha 2 of the tools and will be announced as soon as we have the update site ready.

To get the latest build go look at http://www.hibernate.org/268.html
