Hi.

We're currently stuck in the XDoclet swamp - but looking forward to migrating to Hibernate3 and Annotations.

Is there a road map for Annotations? Can we expect Hibernate-Annotations to be released as 1.0 some where close to the Hibernate 3 1.0 release?

Best Regards //Anders

We currently can't make any promises when Hibernate 3.1 or when Annotations 1.0 will be released. Certainly you can expect some synchronization with EJB3 releases. You can easily get involved by the way, and help out Emmanuel - just send him a mail.

Thanks for the answer!

I guess I made a typo - I meant Hibernate 3.0, nothing else :)

EJB3 is scheduled for release some time in 2006 afaik - so I hope hibernate-annotations will be stable before that :) I'm really not that interested in the EJB3 stuff - I'll gladly use hibernate-specific annotations.

If time permits I will surely do my best to help out moving hibernate-annotations forward :)

//Best Regards, Anders
