Hi,

Would someone care to offer their opinion on which tool is better, more complete for use in J2EE development using Eclipse? Is MyEclipseIDE better or more developed than JBossIDE?

Are there other tools that are plugin to Eclipse that are good?

I am basically looking for a tool that would allow me to start/stop different app servers (Tomcat, JBoss, Weblogic), write/help write mapping files for Hibernate, help write EJBs, help with XDoclet, help view the database, and so on.

Any opinions on this or favorites?

Thanks,
NG.

Personnally I use multiple plugins from a number of vendors. This list changes from time to time. I will say the JBoss plugin has improved alot in recent times and I am using it for JBoss management. It also has XDoclet support and I know there are a number of new features in the pipeline.

Having said that just try out various plugins and see what you like.
