Is there a property that can turn off secondary caching on a global basis (so even if there are <cache> entries in the .hbm.xml files, there will be no caching)?

Maybe there is a null cache provider or something???

I have looked in the documentation, but I couldn't find it.
Hibernate version: 2.1.7c

hibernate.cache.use_second_level_cache

This might be a HB3-only setting, I forget.
