[b]Hibernate version:2.1.7c
Database: Oracle9

1)
If i'm correct , hibernate HQL doesn't support UNION queries. Is there at least a work around for this? Will hibernate support UNION HQL queries in a future version?

2)
Is there a way to specify a condition in the HQL query, to assign a value to an attribute upon satisfying a condition?

i.e: if x.value is null -> x.isTrue = false else x.isTrue = true

thanks
