 Post subject: class inheritance and cache issue

Is it enough to setup cache for base class in hierarchy if I want each class of hierarchy to be cached?

In a word, yes.

In a few words: Caching is set up for an object hierarchy, probably because the second level cache works on rowset data. The second level cache does not cache objects, it caches row data. So, yes it's sufficient to set up caching for the root object only.
