I have no idea what an "unary relation" is (unary predicate?) is, but if it means self-referencing foreign key constraints for adjacency lists (typical tree representation), then Yes.

1. Employee
empId,name,managerId

In that Employee class ,
managerId is the references of Employee(empId)

I wants to create many-to-one bidirectional relationship navigation.

with the navigaton names as manager, managedEmployees

i dont know how to do create mappings & also create the client code which is having CRUD operations

can you pls help me out.
i am in urgency pls ASAP

thanx in advace.

you have to understand that you're not going to learn any orm in 2 hours...

If you really need it urgently, you should consider getting commercial support

This is all very well documented, read the examples from the reference documentation chapters and download caveatemptor, http://caveatemptor.hibernate.org/. There are also many short tutorials linked under "Documentation" (and "External Documentation") on www.hibernate.org.

you are confused because manager is also an employee

as Chrsitian said, just read the doc, cat --> kittens looks like manager --> Employees
