 Post subject: Mapping database indicators to booleans

Hibernate version:
2.1.7

We have character indicators in the database. Is there any to map the boolean value in the bean ('Y'=true, 'N'=false) and vice versa for the update? I can't use formula since that would prevent update.

there is type YesNoType in hibernate api

Thanks, it took a little bit of finding that you had to declare Boolean instead of boolean to get this to work.
