Hi all,
as many of you know, there is hibernate plugin for xdoclet-2, and it got some features missing from 1.2 ( though not all )

Could you state what features are most sought by community? I got some spare time, and I'm implementing it. JIRA for xdoclet-1.2 lists some 66 issues or hibernate plugin, and some of them are aleady "fixed" for xdoclet-2 plugin...

It would be nice if you could complete a few of those 66 features into the 1.2 line. Only saying so since XDoclet 2.0 has not had a final release and some management teams will not approve its use on their projects.

We are pretty near to official release, and I would prefer to add all mising features to 2.0 plugin
because they can be test covered... And whole templating business is much better...

If you are close then I can understand. Just to clarify - what is the definition of close?

xdoclet-2.0 is already released, generama 1.1 release could be out this week.
( they are both under damage contron on codehaus, so fresh snapshots are always available )

They are stable and I use them in production.

And now I'm implementing missing stuff from hibernate into plugin.

Does XDoclet 2 integrate with maven?
I'm downloading the cvs head right now in another browser, but I have to say that's my primary concern right now.
the existing maven-xdoclet-plugin is a giant, but that is where I really learned how jelly script works (and how to kludge it!)

it is well integrated with maven ( and with ant too )

you can checkout xdoclet-plugins from sourceforge to see invocation samples.
( xdoclet.codehaus.org also has some samples )
