Is there a way of setting the hibernate sql dialect at run time rather than in a properties file. If I have an application that can run on MySQL, Oracle or DB2 I want to be able to flick between databse types via, for example, a JVM parameter rather than having to change a hibernate proeprties file that may be embedded in an EAR file.

Thanks,

Configuration.setProperties();
