Hibernate version: 2.1.6

i would like to find a method to do "real" versioning of my datas with hibernate, each time a modify a column, a new row is create with a TimeStamp.... and the paradise would be that hibernate use only the last one when i load a object (except if i specify to it)

The way hibernate manage the persistance <version...> only modify the number in the version row... :(

is there a "standard hibernate way" or must i implement it by myself ?

thanks for any help

Arnaud
