Hibernate version: 2.1.6

It appears that after updating to 2.1.6 my own implementation of MysqlDialect is ignored.

Here is the code:
import net.sf.hibernate.util.StringHelper;

public class MyMySQLDialect extends net.sf.hibernate.dialect.MySQLDialect {
public char getSchemaSeperator()
{
//return '.'; //makes no difference
return StringHelper.DOT;
}
}

I have specified the MyMySQLDialect in the hibernate.cfg.xml but:

SessionFactoryImpl sessionFactoryImpl = (SessionFactoryImpl)sessionFactory;
System.out.println("Dialect: " + HibernateUtils.getSQLDialect().getClass().toString());
System.out.println("Seperator: >" + HibernateUtils.getSQLDialect().getSchemaSeparator() + "<");

yields:
Dialect: class org.kinasenet.hibernate.MyMySQLDialect
Seperator: >_<


Question: why does getSchemaSeperator() not return a dot.
Nevermind any discussion on what the canonical view on mysql's schema capabilities is - I require the databases represented as schemas.

Nevermind, I could swear it used to be:
getSchemaSeperator()
but a quick check reveals it should be:
getSchemaSeparator()

now everything works as planned.
