Hi,
I want to be able to access the above public class, or the Hibernate equivilant if that is incorrect, from my java code. Could anyone tell me what the package is I need to specify in my code to be able to access this?

many thanks

Andrew

p.s. I have checked the docs on this and found nothing.

Did you have a look at the source code?

Christian,
i've managed to track down a UUIDHexGenerator jar which does the same thing. So I now have assigned ids being assigned with UUID codes, very nice!

By the way, why can't the non-assigned genertors behave in an assigned manner in Hibernate?

many thanks

Andrew
