 Post subject: 0 instead of NULL for foreign keys

Hibernate version:
2.1.6

I've a legacy DB which uses sometimes 0 instead of NULL for foreign keys. I'd like to have something like a UserType which returns null if it finds 0.

Any ideas of how to do this?
