everything works ok at the moment, but everytime a query happens this gets appended to the log:

2004-10-09 13:30:58,796 INFO [org.springframework.jdbc.support.SQLErrorCodesFactory] - <Looking up default SQLErrorCodes for DataSource>
2004-10-09 13:30:58,796 INFO [org.springframework.jdbc.support.SQLErrorCodesFactory] - <Database product name found in cache for DataSource [org.apache.commons.dbcp.BasicDataSource@1dbb27d]. Name is 'MySQL'.>

is this a problem? shall i just ignore it?

thanks.

those are INFO messages and not WARN or ERROR messages thus they should be ok, it's just spring's way of letting you know what it's doing, if you don't like it set the error level to debug or warn in your log4j.properties
