Hibernate version:2.1.6

Hi,
I want to send a text Message to server.
read that message at Server.
send respond to that specific message (somthing like : OK/NOT OK, resaon)

then at the client to wait until i get that respond....
read that respond.

Can I do that somehow ?
Is there any builtin method for setting the respond back(server), or waiting for a respond ????
as far as I know Message.acknowledge() does not do that. (but let me know if im wrong...)
