hi
i need to write a query which uses DISTINCT with a date field. i have written a query similar to the following-

select distinct ob.dateField from Object

but it returns records which is distinct not only in terms of date but also in terms of minutes and seconds.

but i need the records which is distinct only in terms of a date.

have i written the query wrong or the problem is somewhere else?

please help.
