 Post subject: should i close sql.Connection explicitly??

Hello,
i'm accesing stored procedures with direct jdbc connection.
The question is should i close the connection or let hibernate care of it??

sorry if that is trivial, i did a quick search and didnt found that info.

If you close the session, you don't have to close the connection, unless you are explicitly handing the connection to the session yourself.

should we close those explicitly, or does session.close handle all of this for us like it does for the connection?
