Hi,

I am using Middlegen Hibernate r5 to reverse engineer my oracle database which tables with columns of type TIMESTAMP.

But the generated java classes and hbm.xml create that property/attribute/ column of type java.lang.Object.

Why ?
Can I not do some customization to get it to generate as java.sql.Timestamp.

Pls note -

The hbm.xml file itself as type=java.lang.Object so I guess the .java file will have the same.

So maybe this is not the bug of hbm2java ant task but MiddleGen.

You can change the type selected in the GUI or edit the preferences file.
