Does anybody know if any article or tutorial was ever written covering specifically the creation of custom class and collection persisters for Hibernate (except from the example found in the test folder)?

So far, I have created a custom persister for classes based only in the API JavaDocs and some reading of the source code itself. It worked well but I still have doubts and thoughts about this subject.

Anything in English, Spanish or Portuguese helps.
