Hi,

i am new to hibernate.
I wanted to know if there is way to place XXX.hbm.xml file and XXX.java file in different locations .

I want to keep all my hbm.xml files in a seperate directory.

I do it that way - so yes no problem.
Your using full/appropriate paths to objects in the HBMs and full/appropriate paths to mapping when you configure the session factory.
