Hi Folks,

I now that JDBC Drivers can be very painfull to use. So Hibernate acts in a very 'dangerous' field ;).

Anyway a question for interest: Do you plan to support Savepoints recently added to JDBC 3.0 in Hibernate3? Would fit perfect Hibernate3 supports JDBC 3.0 ;).

I guess it makes sence to work with Transaction interface as it encapsulates rollback/commit already? What do you think about it?

Thx
Toby

Yes, we plan it "eventually", meaning sometime in the next year-ish. So not immediately.
