Hi all

I am updating and insert over 100,000 rows in a single session and I am wondering if EHCache
caches PreparedStatement in Hibernate 2.1.

If it does, could anyone please tell me how to configure it?

Would I will be better off using plain JDBC for this type operations?

Cheers

Edmond

hi,
you're right, ORM is not the best solution for massive operations.
Use JDBC if you want but the best solution is something like sqlLoader or ProC to write a batch if you have some complex rules.
