Can you give me some hints on retrieving data efficiently as I have to upload bulk data on startup and use that throught my application.
I want to maintain minimum no. of objects(i.e use object references and avoid data redundency) wherever possible.
My application is typical data retrieval intensive. I donot insert/update/delete data.
I will be thankful to you for helping me out.

Hi Christain,
I am refering to your chapter on reteriving objects efficiently.
I wanted to ask about the strategy which can be used in Hibernate for retrieving data/objects that are read only and do not change during runtime, but are accessed many times in the application even in different sessions.

I guess there is nothing more I can say about this than I do in the book.

I recommend clicking on the fat blinking "Hibernate in Action" book on the left side on www.hibernate.org.
